Question About Water Breaking

I am 2cm dialated, 50% effaced and have been for 3 weeks. I am due tomorrow (9/17) and scheduled for a membrane sweep on Monday. If that doesn't work, I am scheduled for an induction on Wednesday @ 7:30am. I was just wondering if it is possible for your water to break at only 2cm and if I still had some chance of surprise left over the weekend...anything will help...

Your water can break at anytime, more likely to after you loose your plug, and the chances are also higher if you dialater more.

My first child my water broke went to the hospital and was only dialated to a 1 and I didn't have a trinkle of water I had a complete explosion of water. So yes you can go at a 2. Good luck.

Thank you both, you've just added some sunshine to my weekend :) Today is my due date, the 17th, and I just have a feeling it will come and go, but I still have 4 more other days until my induction! I think I've lost almost all of my plug but sometimes a little still makes an appearance here and there. Hoping for the best and thank you again!!

with my daughter my water broke at 2 cms. with my boys my water had to be broken. One at 10 cms and one at 8cms.
