Start Of Labor Please Answer

I have been dilated on the outside to 1cm for about 5 weeks or so, today i was told i am now dilated to 1cm on the inside as well. I have been having lots of cramping, back ache, major thirstyness, and lots of diarreah..... Might i be starting labor soon or can i walk around with these symptoms for quite some time yet?

i had all the same signs you did and i was haveing braxton hicks i was 35 weeks and now i am 38 weeks and getting induced on monday so no one really knows it could happen only what the baby wants good luck with every thing

Yep, I agree with moe. I had all that until my due date when she finally came out. When you start having contractions, your belly gets hard and squeezes, it'll be the time. It could be hours after that.

a friend of mine walked around for 2 days at 4cm. So who knows but if your ready to put yourself in labor walk until you can't anymore that should do it. But I wouldn't walk alone.
