What Does It All Mean

Im 36 weeks pregnant. I went to the doctor last week and he told me the I was 30-40% thinning and he got on finger in my cervix and felt the head. I'm only having contractions once or twice a day but am having pains all over my stomach and a lot around my belly button. Im also leaking a little bit of whitish yellowish fluid all throughout the day, but I never feel like I have to pee. What is going on with me and what does all of this mean? I've tried talking to my family and friends and they're all telling me that I could go at anytime. Are they right or should I not get my hopes up? I just want my baby to be out already?

If you are leaking fluid, and it is not pee, then you need to call your OB right now. It sounds like your leaking amniotic fluid. And the pains you are feeling could very well be contractions. Get your hubby and get going!! Please post again and let me know what happend. I am not due with out second child until july and I am already wanting him out. Good luck! :O}

I'm only leaking a little bit though. Should I still bother my doctor about it, or should i wait until i start leaking more? i go back on thursday to see him.

im 39 weeks now but i felt i was leaking bout 2 weeks ago over a few days, i rang the hospital and they said to go strait in. when i got there they checked me out and said it wasnt my waters but but its always best to be safe. why dont you give them a ring or call in, put your mind at rest. :=) xx
