Most women sometimes do have a bowel movement while trying to deliver. It is not a big deal. Trust me the doctors and ob nurses have seen it all!!!

Couldn't state any statistics, but I have wached my sister birth 3, my friend birth 2, and I have had 1 baby, and none of us had a bowel movement during delivery.
