i'm 41 weeks or maybe 42 i'm not sure but i have been going to the bathroom and haveing bowel movements all day. does that mean i'm going to have my son soon?

i had loose bm at the beginning of labor. had my baby a couple hours later. its hard to tell though.....

NikkiS I also had that and it was the start of labour so good luck if it is (and you should be having your baby anytime soon anyway at 41/42 weeks I have honestly never heard of babies taking much longer that 2 weeks overdue...

I woke up due to needing frequent bowel movements and then started having contractions 2 mins apart, then my water broke so it could mean things have started. I hope it was the start for you :o) Good luck and keep us all posted xx

I'm 40 weeks as well and have been having loose bowl movements since 1am this morning. For your sake and mine, maybe it's the start of labor. I've also been trying nipple stimulation with my b___st pump to see if i can get some things moving along. It is rumored that your body natually relieves itself before labor, keep me posted on if you progress into labor, and I will do the same. Good Luck!

Hello to you all I have an update for you. It turned out to be the beginnings of labor and i had my son at 1:49 pm on friday. he is so beautiful. i couldn't be happier.
