im 39 weeks today. and im letting you know ahead of time im really probably over-reacting but i dont know if im just dropping more, or if im in really early stages of labour.. i really dont think im in labour... but i just wanted to kinda make sure.. im not having contractions, but im having constant pressure down there.. not anything that peaks... just constant since about 4:30 this morning. the only time it would get worse/peak is when the baby moves.. so i know its not contractions, cuz if the baby doesnt move for 10 minutes it doesnt peak for ten minutes but if the baby moves 20 times in 10 minutes it will be worse 20 times.. does that make any sense at all? :S.... i havent had any nesting either so my mother really doesnt think im in labour... and i havent seen my doctor since the 15th and at that time i hadnt even dropped and he didnt checked me so i dont know whats going on down there. Thanks for any answer.

you're probably starting to dialate and efface...my mom dialated early with all of us and she said the pressure she felt down there due to it was crazy...they actually told her she couldn't drive either...you'd have some kinda pain if you were in labor...iv been having contractions but im not dialated n they're not braxton hicks...go figure...but they started in my back like pms cramps worked into my hips down into my groin muscles and legs and then up into my lower stomach...granted they wernt labor but when i told my doc you shoulda seen his face since i just turned 36 weeks lol..good luck girl its a crazy ride...hopefully you can sleep at night iv had horrible insomnia that doesnt go away until about 4-5 in the morning...

You're baby's movement will slow down alot as the baby gets in position. If you're havin a lot of movement, you're probably not as close as you're hoping to be.
