my contractions started at 6 am this morning,by 1:30pm they stopped again, i am 6 days overdue and starting to pull my hair out. is stopping and starting a thing that happeneds often or am i the only one?

a week ago, i had contractions every 3-5mins regular, but not very painful. I dilated 21/2cm and then everything stopped. So no I guess you are not alone, at least in our frustrations.

nope - -you're not alone. Sounds like your body is almost ready to have that baby. Try doing lots of walking. Maybe they'll kick back up again.
