Aww don't feel bad lol every time I get any little twinge I think 'is this it?' Hopefully they will start becoming more regular and then you'll know for sure! I haven't had any contractions except for braxton hicks, which I'm having pretty frequently now. I'm only 38 weeks though....when is your due date?

Thanks catrina I am scheduled to be induced July 16th. I am 37 weeks along. Kind of early I know but I went early with my daughter and have a fam. history of going early. Sigghhhh guess I'll have to wait to be induced. I am just so ready to have this baby. The contrations did keep up and then I laid down and fell asleep and nothing this morning.

I know I'm so ready too! It gets really frustrating at this point because I don't know about you, but every day is the same for me! I don't have anything to do! Now that I've bought everything for her and washed it and gotten everything ready I'm just sitting around waiting for her to come, and everyone just says 'rest while you can' but it's so HOT and uncomfortable!!! At least you know that on the 16th it's all going to be done! My due date is the 20th so I could have to go for a few weeks after that before they induce me. Well I hope the contractions come back! I'm sure you'd rather have her or him on your own instead of being induced. I hope mine comes before that!

at only 37 weeks you could "go" today or you could have another 5 weeks ahead of you! you seem SO anxious! A watched pot never boils! You'll KNOW when you are in labor. Until then, go for a walk, read a book, do some things for you and stop obsessing over going into labor or not. and once you do that and relax about it...BAM you'll be in labor and KNOW it!

If it makes anyone feel better, elephants are pregnant for 22 months and their babies weigh approx. 250lb! So we can hang in a bit longer, can't we? ;)

Livdea, I know a watched pot never boils but I also know I wont go for another 5 weeks. ;-) I am being induced a week from this sunday. I just know nature and the rule of thumb on how things goes. Today my husband is in a VERY important business meeting and has to be there. So you know he'll be 90 miles from the hospital and I'll be 60 miles from the hospital and ofcourse i'll go into labor wouldn't ya know.... cause he can't drive me or I wont be able to get a hold of him from 2pm-5pm... lol.

I went through that with my last baby. I was convinced I was going to go early because with my first I went two weeks early so nervous about if I would kknow when it was time because with my first my water broke then they induced me and even then I do not remmeber what the contractions felt like. Well anyways I went a week overdue and man was I ever cranky I did not like anybody.LOL. Then I had to go to the hospital to ahve a nonstress test done thank goodness that my dh was there he works far away from where we live it is 2 hour drive away. Well anyways he was on his break and he brought me to the hospital and my water broke in the parking lot. Could not be more lucky.LOL Anyways here I am pregnant again not far along mind you and back to being wrried that I will not know when it is time again. You think after having 2 children I would know by now. The nurses and doctors could not believe I was in labor I was laughing the whole time.

wow dedaa-so your water broke both times first. Yeah mine did the same thing. I just figure i'll go into labor early with this one or before my induction date because dh is not around and like today..... my mother in law and father in law aren't around and neither is brother in law and thas all I know around this town. Dh is going to be in a meeting from 2pm until 5pm. And on top of that then he goes back to work 2 hours from home again. sighhhhhh. Things never go smoothly ya know. I've been having cramping again and it feels like my period is coming on.

I am 37 weeks and 4 days and I feel like I am about to start my period too (but a little more intense). My lower back is also very sore which hasnt been a problem. I dont have sharp pains but I feel like something is going on, probably just wishful thinking though....My water broke at 36 1/2 weeks with my first so I am hoping I will go a little early with this one too, but I am scheduled for a c-section on July 18 so I know for sure I dont have to wait pa__sed then, I would be so evil if I did, I will be 39 weeks and 2 days.....

Tjane. my doc has pitty on me and scheduled me for July 16th. I'll be 38 weeks 5 days along. Thats just 10 days away. I have an upper back ache as well as lower back ache and I have a lot of lower pressure and menstral type pains. Some times they get worse some times not as bad..

Thats my birthday and I sooo tried for that day as I turn 39 weeks on that day but they dont do-scheduled c-sections on the weekends, and since I dont have any complications I have to wait until I am 39 weeks exactly, nothing earlier... My next option was Monday the 17th but they were booked!!! I couldnt believe they were booked.. So I have to wait until the 18th..... I dont have unbarable pains (yet) but I am developing some carpel tunnel and just over all uncomfortable... Every little thing that happens Im like "is this it?"... but 12 more days at most so I am dealing... I am frowning but I will make it... Oh and the horrible acid reflux... I didnt know it could be so bad where you actually just throw up out of no where, I throw up in my sleep, like its as easy as breathing( sorry gross tmi) but I never understood acid reflux until now.... I only have 1 more dr appt, which is my pre-op next Thursday so I will just deal with it.......

Oh my god Tjane I have that acid reflux too! It's the most horrible thing I've ever experienced! By far the worst thing about this pregnancy. I'm 38 weeks today but unlike you lucky ladies I have to wait for her to come on her own, unless of course she's a no-show after the due date. I'm so ready too, I really wish she would come already!

I don't think I have had the acid refulx like that. I have ate to much or drank to much liquid and when I bent over some came back up, but I haven't vomited in my sleep or anything. YIKES that sounds like not to much fun.

well its late and I am up feeling cruddy. Having horrible menstral type pains and contractions about every 10 minutes, but I am sure they'll go away. On top of it all my heart palpatations are acting up, so it makes it impossible to sleep! How is every one else doing?

well its 7am. I think I finally pa__sed out around 4:30am. I could not sleep for nothing I kept waking up with contractions, though they didn't hurt after the first couple. Every now and again one hurt. I have an ob appointment today at 9 so that is where I am headed to. The hospital is an hour away so thats why we leave an hour early. I got to go get ready. So far this morning I have had one contraction since waking.

Hey Ashley, are you not working? I am working still full time so that really helps the time pa__s but with you not getting sleep its a good thing if you arent... Let us know how your appointment goes...
