When should a person go to the hospital if she thinks that she is in labor?

with first i headed off as soon as contractions were regular.with 2nd i just got ther to deliver (my own choice) and third went earier because my contractions were very painful and thought i was more dialated then i thought.listen to you body all labours are different mine were im planning to labour at home until im ready this time to deliver in also depends on how far u r from hospital i lived in a small country town so the hospital was just around the corner and they r not as buzy but you should always ring a head to let them know you think you might be in labour and keep the updated so thay will be prepared for u when u go in
