What do you do when your husband doesn't want a second child? We have a 3 1/2 year old "ALL BOY " kind of son. He's very active and my husband is 41 and feels he's overwhelmed with this child. He said that there is no way he could handle a 2nd child and that I couldn't either. I'm 37 and have the deep desire to raise another child before I'm too old to do so.
I was thinking about seperating our lives by moving myself into the walkout basement for my own private quarters and still be apart of all that's normal with my son's life. I love them both very much, but I want to get pregnant and raise the 2nd child. I'm willing to do this with or without him. I checked into the cost of fertility and the semen will be close $1000, but the doctor's fees....are much higher. Am I really out of control with this idea? Can anyone help me?
