Is It Safe To Take The Pill

So Im on the pill and last month I kind of messed up on the pill and started my period early then my husband and I had s_x and I really wasn't taking the pill at that time. So I renewed my prescription for my bc and now Im scared to take it cause what if Im pregnant? Do you think that I could take a pregnancy test and find out? Is it to soon to do so? ?

You need to wait until your period starts in order to start a new pack of the pill. If you don't get your period within 2 weeks of having unprotected s_x, you can start taking pregnancy tests with a reasonable amount of accuracy. But since you still need to wait until your period arrives to start back on the pill, you will know that you're not pregnant if it does arrive.
