grandpa viv. i had unprotected s_x(lost my virginity) a day after my period ended. he didnt ejaculate in me but i was scared about pre c_m so within the next 5-8 hours after we did it i took the plan b step one or whatever and after my research it says my period should come early because of the plan b, but if i just had my period when should i expect the next one? and im really really worried if im pregnant.. im stressing majorly and dont know what to do. help me please asap, im freaking out. and what if the plan b didnt work? how would i know?

Stop stressing, Phyllis. S_x in the first week of your cycle is pretty low risk, though I do know a woman who got pregnant the last day of her period. Taken early in the cycle like this Plan B often induces a bleed within a week. Considering the exposure, timing and PlanB your chance of pregnancy is next to nothing. Can you tell your mum you are becoming s_xually active and you need to get on good contraception stat? If not, at least buy your own condoms, lubricant and v____al spermicide and read up on how to use properly. Avoid s_x during your fertile window normally quoted as cycle days 8 thru 16 of 28. GL!

So you think the plan b one step worked? And when should my next period be? Since I just had s_x the day after it ended??

I think your exposure was unlikely to cause a pregnancy, but in the remote chance it did then the PlanB would have worked. You should get an early period a week or so after taking it. Be careful from now on - be prepared. It's the woman who has to handle an unplanned pregnancy, not the guy.

Btw we had protected s_x today and he pulled out before ejaculating. But my period calendar said I was suppose to be ovulating today so what's the possibility of pregnancy?

From what you describe the chance of pregnancy is about one in ten thousand. You are still in your PlanB cycle so you are not likely ovulating anyway. Do you know and recognize the signs of ovulation?

phillis77 - February 20

No I have no clue what the signs are.. And how long is the plan b cycle?

Grandpa Viv - February 20

You are still waiting for a PlanB bleed. In a regular cycle ovulation occurs about 14 days before the next expected menstruation. It is preceded by several days of fertile mucus, the cervix is high and open, there may be an ovulation cramp, and libido is high (wanting s_x). Sperm can last 5 days inside waiting for ovulatioin, but after ovulation the egg is good for only one day.

PS: why are you having s_x again without proper protection. Get real, or you will be pregnant inside a few months.

You said sperm can last 5 days? So does that mean im pregnant?! And my period is already messed up as it is so what does that mean now? And yes I know. I have the right protection now. It's not like I'm the only one who accidentally did it without protection?

phillis77 - February 20

And the second time we did it we had protection. It was only the first time we didnt

Grandpa Viv - February 20

Sorry, I did not properly absorb your comment that the second time was protected, which also means the chance of pregnancy from that incident is negligible. Know that the chance of pregnancy from perfectly timed unprotected s_x in any cycle is only about 30%. Be patient and stop worrying now. Just wait for your next period. GL!

Ok thanks! And by the way Is there any way that the plan b didn't work??
