Hi can you please help i have a new fella who has been told by some of his mates that 1-You can get shigles if you sleep with a pregnant women 2-You can harm the baby 3-You can get pregnant while pregnant Now i am 26 weeks pregnant, have only one uterus Thank You

1. Shingles is caused by the chicken pox virus. Nothing to do with pregnancy. 2. In a typical pregnancy, of course not. if you're in a high risk pregnancy and have been advised by your doctor to abstain or if you're put on bed rest, it can be a different story. 3. I don't know that I can dignify that one with a reply. Once you're pregnant, that's it -- you can't get repregnant or double-pregnant or any such nonsense.

I totally agree with the previous answer. Your guy friend is definetely misguided & confused. Tell him he should take basic s_x ed

not to argue but yes getting pregnant while pregnant is possible if u have a double uterus..look it up... it has happened. I didn't believe it either till I looked it up. my hubby got shingles while I was pregnant..but it was not from sleeping with me his dr said shingles is brought on by extreme stress and we were having money issues at that time and were expecting a new baby so yeah he was stressed! and as far as hurting the baby...as long as ur dr hasn't told u to refrain then ur baby will be fine. gl
