I was on bc for almost 2yrs and stopped on 3rd Oct,2011; got normal period on 6th. Then 11th Nov, 14th Dec, 22nd Jan, 27th Feb and 11th April.
The cycle is getting longer, however always start with heavy flow for 2days, then medium for 2 days and light for 1 day, so 5 days.
I am married and trying to conceive. On 17th May and 19th May, we had unprotected s_x and on 27th May on wards I was having brown mucus until 3rd June evening when I started to bleed. There was nothing over-night and again started from 4th June morning til 8th June. Then spotted for one day.
It's not like my normal period, which is always heavy and I never spotted. One light pad was enough for 1 day this time (I prefer to change one/day at least).
Recently I started to chart BBT and from 18th May till now it's in a range of 96.4 to 97F. I also checked my cervix position and it's high, soft and OPEN, even after bleeding has stopped.
I took one HPT on 2nd June, another on 10th June but got negative results.
Just an wired very late period?

Just to add, even this morning I had very stretchy cervical mucus which is there throughout.

Hmm! It seems you might be ovulating now. Better get to work! The BBT bit is useful to determine if and when you are ovulating - the up and down pattern, not the absolute temperatures.
