i usually measured around 2 weeks bigger with both of my last two. sometimes, its just the way the baby is positioned in there too. I wouldn't worry, the baby might be a little bigger than normal, mine were a little bigger but not a whole lot.

The problem I have is there is no communication between my consultant and my midwife other than what they write on my notes. I was told at my last u/s that my baby has really long legs and a very big head - I was expecting this because I have extremely long legs and both dh and I have big heads. So I guess this is why I am measuring big. ~~~~~ HOWEVER according to my last period I am actually 33 weeks but because my cycles were very irregular then we went by the dates given by weekly u/s which suggests that I am 28 weeks. So I am just nervous because we still have to move out, but a car and get baby things. This is fine if baby comes in 12 weeks as expected but I don’t think I can squeeze it all in in just 7 weeks. I do have an u/s for next Thursday and hopefully that will clear a few things up for us.

Yeah I wouldn't worry, but it just seems like your midwife may have her dates wrong. I was measuring 3 weeks ahead at my 20 wk ultrasound and then after about 5 weeks he leveled off. Now at 31 weeks I'm measuring 2 weeks ahead again. Doctor says babys go through growth spurts and that is most likely the cause. Have you been checked for GD yet? A big baby can be a sign of that. But from what you are saying it sounds like your midwife has her dates wrong and you are probably in fact 33 weeks preggo. Try not to stress until the ultrasound. If you are really measuring that far ahead they will most likely change your due date. Good Luck!

I have had about 16 u/s throughout this pregnancy so I guess they would have picked up already if I am further along than thought.~~~ I think I may just end up with a big baby – Lucky me.
