I Have the same question I am 6wks and have gained 3 lbs witch to me is alot for only being 6wks. I was wondering if this is normal? I am so scared that I am going to gan to much or do something wrong.

hi, this is my first pregnancy and the dr said i am about 5 wks. occa__sionally i have cramps like i am coming on my period but tonight i just had the sharpest pain ever but it was in the middle, not on the left or right side. i go to my first prenatal intake on march 23rd. should i be worried at all??

Hi Racquel, I am now almost 7 wks pregnant with my third child and don't think you should be worried. I have had so many different pains all over my tummy, dull achey ones, sharp ones, split second ones and prolonged ones - a midwife told me not to worry unless I was bleeding with the pain. Remember you can always phone a midwife at your local GP's for advice if you are worried - just to put your mind at ease!

Hi again - quick question - am 7 wks pregnant and have been feeling extremely dizzy - especially in bed at night - feeling almost paralysed and sluring words and a feeling that if I go to sleep I may not wake up - very panicy - has anyone else felt this or does anyone know what it might be?

I'm almost 6 weeks and so far my clothes are still fitting. I have been having terrible bouts of nausea early in the mornings and then by 11, everything is calm and back to normal. this is my 1st Baby.

Sarah Lou, it sounds to me like you need to speak to either your mum, close family relative or doctor and share your troubles. I'm sure you could find someone to confide in who could help you through this. Where are you from?

i am in the middle of my sixth week and had put on jeans today...oh boy they are snugg!!! I have been having nausea off and on, usually at night, i work third shift so its while im awake and working which isnt fun, but no vomiting thankfully. My b___bs are sore and getting quite plump and my belly is getting bigger, but i was unsure if it was just relaxing(no longer sucking it in) but it seems like i cant even really suck in anyway..nothing changes!!! i hope all the best of luck and we can go through this wonderful journey together!!!! ps. first time mommy

Hi Mommy Jalaine, where are you from? I am 7 and half weeks pregnant with my third child and to be honest it just feels like my first time all over again - my tummy also getting bigger by the day and b___bs have already gone up a size - amazing the changes so early on isn't it! congrats by the way!

hi laura, thank you...i am just so excited to be going through this!! i am from milwaukee wisconsin. so i bought my first pair of maternity pants yesterday. They are simple black yoga type pants and the most comfortable thing i've ever worn!!!! the jeans just arent working for me, they are ok at first and then as the day goes become uncomfortable. so my hubby is noticing a change in my belly now too...he commented last night " is your stomach getting bigger already??" they sometimes just dont get it do they :)

i was wondering, when is the average time to go for the first prenatal visit, mine is scheduled for april 24th with my OB and April 19th with the prenatal nurse to do all the blood work and what not....is this normal to be this far away? it would be approx my 10-11th week of pregnancy...

laura i was reading your question from the 17th about being dizzy and what not, from a nurses perspective here it sounds like low blood pressure which can cause the dizzyness, im not too sure about the paralysis or slurring of words, you may want to check with your dr. another thing that can cause the dizziness is something being off in your ears, have you been sick or had an ear infection or feel like your getting one? these are the things i can think of, drink lots of fluids and call dr. if you feel unsafe k?

I am 6 weeks 1 day and I gained 10 lbs so far. My jeans barely fit so I wear track pants or jogging pants now. I am always feeling hungry so maybe that has something to do with me gaining 10 lbs already lol

i am just entering my 7th week of pregnancy and i have been having a dark brown discharge, it began saturday night through sunday morning and then stopped all day sunday and then began sunday night again. the first "wipe" when i go to the bathroom is sorta alot and then from then on is small amounts almost just drops. it doesnt come out in my underwear while walking or anything but is there when i go to the bathroom. can anyone help me too see what this is. i called the dr. and the nurse said it is old blood and if it turns red and i get crampy (severe) to call back.....i am still scared and dont even want to move around, i want to put myself on bedrest :)

I am 9wks pregnanat and this is my first pregnancy. I havent been sick yet but I have gained about 4lbs and am really starting to show, is this normal. I am so worried that I am doing something wrong.
