Hey gal - I was wondering the details on your baby's supposed size before you had him..... My baby has always weighed more than he is supposed to and was wondering how much smaller your baby was than what it showed on the Ultra Sound! Thanks for your help!

when i was 26 wks i measured 30 wks so they set me to u/s they told me at that time he measured atleast 3.5lbs then at 33 wks they told me he was measuring atleast 8.5 lbs and at my 39th wks check up over 10 lbs but i delivered at 39wks 4 days and he was 7 lbs 4 ozs the doctor was stocked come to find out my uterus was over extended due to me loosing his twin at 7 weeks and i was carrying the size that i would of if the other baby had survived but the doctor said that it wouldn't make the baby measure large and then he said that they can be off by atleast 2 lbs with u/s obviously because there was a 3.5 lb difference

Thanks for the info! Makes me a little releived that I might be having a normal sized baby!! I have 3 girls and they all weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces....and two of them are by my ex, and the last one and this one are my DH's - We are getting a boy this time, and even though DH is a big man, he was a little over 6 pounds when he was born. I am hoping for at least no bigger than 8 1/2 pounds!!! :) PRay for me!!!

your welcome i have 3 girls too one is my step daughter i finally got my boy with this last one my dh is big to and he was small at birth also my step daughter was 10lbs 4 oz and my 2 girl were 6lbs 13 oz and 6lbs 11.5 oz so there is hope he will be a good size boy tend to be just a little bigger but not to much
