I went to the doctor yesterday...I am 37 weeks. She said I am 80% effaced, 2cm dialated, and -2. Is this good? What exactly is the -2? I work full time and go to school still and I am ready. Any tips?

Hi, yeh thats a good progression however it still doesnt tell you much, you could go into labour in 2 days or 2 weeks time! there is some confusion over which way is what but i think the -2 means the baby's head is 3/5 engaged so it only has another 2/5 until fully engaged! Goodluck
