I was wondering if any of you know if and how we can check for dialation of the cervix ourselves?

There was a website that comes from midwives that said how to check your cervix for dilation yourself. I tried it but my cervix was too high to reach.
It says to sit on the toliet, so you can get around your stomach. Place one foot up on the toliet with you. Insert two fingers in and reach back towards you bottom as much as you can. It should be soft. If you can place on finger in you are about 1-2 cm. If you can place both fingers in and stretch them open you are suppose to be about three cm. Good luck trying, cause I had no luck myself!

my cervix and i got to know each other very well while we were trying to concieve. lol. but i doubt i'll be able to reach when i'm far enough alonf to dialate.
