ok, alot of people. ok... everyone except my mother is saying this to me. even my best friends. they are saying im gunna have the baby like a month early because my body wont be able to carry it a full 9 months. and when we talk about it they assume im having a c section and think its impossible for me to have it naturally, but my doctor said i can and then once i finally get them to believe i am having a natural labour they say labour is gunna kill me because they babys gunna "rip me apart". i just get all these really rude comments from people and i mean is it actually gunna make a difference just because im small?

And how small you are? I'm 5'2 and 130 pounds now (before pregnancy I was 102). I'm pretty small too but I'm already overdue and there is no reason to have a c section for me. It all depends how narrow is your pelvis.

dont mind their comments and opinions. if you're really concerned, voice it to your doctor. im small too, and all those "you're so small, you're baby will only be 4lbs" or "watch, you're going to need a c-section because youre small" comments bothered me so much i was constantly asking my doctor if everyone was right. well, im due in less than 2 weeks, and baby is about 7 lbs or so, and theres no indication that i would even need a c-section. after all these questions about my size and baby's size, my doctor asked me if these commenters were on the bigger side. in fact, they were..she told me they were just jealous. my buddy is less than 5 ft tall, and barely 90 prepregnancy, she delivered 2 perfectly beautiful 6 pounders naturally.

i am 5'3" and weigh pre pregnancy 95lbs, I was smaller pre pregnancy with my first, only 87lbs. I had a v____al birth with the first she was 6lbs 1oz and no complications, she did not even "rip me apart" as I was told she would... I was told though that it may be difficult for me if she had been 9lbs, but that is a different story, again like Heja said it depends on alot of things, like how narrow you are in the pelvis area... Good luck and don't let these comments bother you, people forget how to talk to us normally while we are pregnant, LOL!
