I posted on the cesarean section site, but I will try here also. I am looking for someone to talk to or some information about cesarean section and hysterectomy. I am due with my 1st and only baby on July 10th 2007. I am having a cesarean section and hysterectomy due to a big baby and ovarian cancer, a prolapsed uterus, and a tumor in the va___a. I am also having a lot of problems with my bladder. I am always using depend diapers, 24/7. Like I said I am looking for help my doctor, husband and mom and rest of family are not being supportive. Anyone please help.

Hi. I am sorry you are facing so much, had to be a ton on your mind. I've had 2 C-Sections and a hysterectomy, all at different times. My 1st C-Section was an emergency c-section so I was cut from my belly b___ton down. The same scar was used both other surgeries. First time, I healed really quick and was up about in no time. My other 2 surgeries, I wasn't in as good as shape, etc ..so it took me a bit longer. No one could ever know how you are feeling or come close to understanding how things are worrying you, unless they've walked in the exact same shoes. I can related somewhat, being through what I've been through. My thoughts are sure with you. You just got to try and not worry as much as it is nothing you can control. The surgery itself will be fine, and I'm sure your baby will be fine too. Healing from the surgery will take some time but you should be fine there too. Hopefully, when this is all over with .. your bladder control will be better because you won't have so much pressure. Keep in mind, you are paying your doctor to provide a service for you - HE is working for YOU. If you don't like his answers, keep asking him and don't feel bad. Don't let him walk out until you are feeling more comfortable. =)
