I am not uneducated. Unfortunately I am more educated than most in this but that is beside the point. The point is still this babies come when there ready and not a minute before unless you physically yank them out. And not every doctor is out there to charge a ton of money. In fact the doctor I see does a lot of pro bono cases to ensure that women in my community get proper prenatal care. All I am saying is that I understand the frustration of being pregnant, especially being overdue but please consult with a MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL before trying any of the remedies you read about online. PLEASE. Doctor, midwife, nurse, don't try something just because someone else said it works for them. As with anything you put in your body, it affects everything differently.

i think that we all try these remedies like chickens with our heads cut off. Then when the baby finally comes we are like... yeah this worked when really it was probably just time for the baby to come.

A prayer for all of you! Trust in the lord, his word is true!
Father, as I look foward to delivery of my sweet baby, having enjoyed a blessed pregnancy of full duration, I thank you in advance for your word, your blessings, your peace, your presence and your divine intervention. I pray and confess that my body and my baby will cooperate with perfect, supernatural delivery, that there will be no problems of any kind. I also believe and declare that my labor and delivery will be quick, short, easy and painless. I believe and declare that I'll have time to get to the proper place with proper help.
Baby in Jesus' name, you move and place yourself in perfect position for birth: head first, not breech and face down. You rotate properly as God intended you to. I command the umbilical cord to be in proper position as well. Body, you function perfectly during this time. I have perfect peace and am relaxed. All fear must go and stay gone, for I have God, who is perfect love and casts out fear. My body will not be tense but relaxed, at peace. I speak specifically to all parts of my body to come in line with God's word and will.
Father, I believe that at the proper time my water will break and my uterus will do its job and begin to contract and push my aby down the birth ca___l and out into our loving arms and lives. I commandmy cervix to dilate fully to 10 cm to be elastic and stretch. To the uterus, v____a, perineum, vulva as well as my cervix, you relax, be elastic and stretch without causing pain or complications. Accomodate the birth of my bay. Furthermore, I declare in Jesus' name that I will not tear or need an episiotomy. Father, pain is under the curse of the law, and your word says that Jesus bore our pain, so I rebuke all pain and will not tolerate pain. I will have a short, easy pain free delivery in Jesus' name; therefore, I won't need any anesthetic of any kind. Thank you, lord, in Jesus' name. AMEN!

its a very natural process nothing to worry about. Take gas and air it reduces inibitions involved in labour. Castor oil is suuposed to work, but ive heard its dangererous. I have four children and had to be started with all four it shouldnt cause complicarions provided you go with the flow and relax. good luck all the best.

My NP/ Midwife suggested the following after 36 weeks, 1500 mg Evening Primorose, Red Rasberry Leaf Tea (3 times a day), nipple stimulation, and s_x (unprotected, position yourself so the sperm lays on your cervix for 15 minutes (lay on back with pillow under b___t)). All these techniques rippens (softens) the Cervix.

I tried everything. S_x, walking, caster oil, that horrible tea. I also got told that if you haven't got everything ready that could aslo hold you back. Thats all in the mind though I think. With my 1st child they were going to set me off at 10pm on the 30th November, but I went into labour myself by 8:20pm. With my 2nd they were going to set me off at 9am on the 30th April but I went into labour myself at 11:50am on the 29th April. Good job I was already in hospital cos by 12:31 she was born. I have been told by some people that being induced is horrible and it hurts a lt more - but the people who told me that had only one child so how would they know? In most cases the fear of getting set off scares you into labour. Make sure you get plenaty of rest for the big day. You will need all the energy you have.

I bought rasberry leaf tea at a local health food store. You buy it in bulk and buy a tea ball. I hear you need to drink 3-4 cups a day but it tastes great and can drink it iced because it is so hot. I also hear it is not only good to help induce but to strengthen your uterus and aide in pain relief. I hear that it is good for bringing on the milk flow and stopping heavy bleeding post birth. Good luck!

I have just bought some raspberry leaf tea and am drinking it now. I have so far tried: Castor Oil (just gave me the runs and really painful cramps that were not contractions), bowling (that just gave me back and hip pains), jumping on a trampoline, train tracks, horse back riding, quading, walking, running on a treadmill, as well as going to a chiropractor and a ma__sage/reflexologist and nothing have happened yet. The lady I talked to at the natural foods store told me that if the raspberry tea did not help then the thing to try is blue and black cohosh because they are herbs that will purposely start contractions and is a natural abortive but you should only take that in the last few weeks of your pregnancy i will keep you posted to tell everyone which works better the tea or the blue and black cohosh. Here's hoping...lol
