I am three days late, and wish I'd found this site sooner, since I have myself convinced I'm psychologically delaying my period (though we've been trying to conceive). Because I'm a 'to the minute' 28 day cycle, I went off to the doctor for a urine test the first day of my missed period (two days ago)...and it came back negative. 3 HPTs also negative. I've felt pre-menstreul for about a week and a half.

I had period like cramps for the entire 1st trimester with my son. I swore at any moment my period was going to start. Low and behold a beautiful baby boy!

I had normal cramping like I was gong to start my period and alot of spotting, but never actually started. The spotting went on for about 6 days. I felt like something was different because I get a migraine every month on my period, ands this time, no migraine. I took a HPT this morning and it came out positive. I not sure if I believe it because I was spotting for the normal amount of time I would of had my period???

I'll let you know soon enough! I feel AF is coming, then NOTHING...I'm over three days late, and always on time! I'm going to Doc. on Monday for urine test, but all HPT have been negative - and I mean all...I bought out Costco!!!! (ha ha)

sometimes the pain and the sickness and going to the toilet alot is a bladder infection, well if you have bladder infection it's easy to cure just ask the doctorand he/she will give you a pill to make it all better.... otherwise just take a HPT okies

wow i had no idea that this many people are going throught the same type of thing...i too have been cramping most of the week. They feel like period cramps but no period yet. i am now 2 months and one day late...can anyone help??

yeah just get a test done girl... or see a heath clinic... should be free if your under 20

I don't know when I had my last cycle because I never pay attention. I think possibly beginning of Oct. Anyway, I had brownish discharge on Tuesday then it got pink and disappeared. The next day none, next day none, now I'm 5 days no spotting. Breasts not sore but nipples and areola are extremely sensative. Feels like my stomach rumbling or "aching" all the time. I can't stand anything on my waistline. I feel I could start my period at any minute. Everytime I use the restroom I pray there is no blood! I miscarried at 10 weeks last October. Tuesday after seeing the spotting I took 6 tests because I never just spot once and go to pink...Even when I miscarried. So I knew something was up. Anyway, all six tests are Positive....very quickly positive. I know of girls that have gone throughout their whole pregnancy and NEVER turn a test positive! So, go with what your body is telling you. For those of you who are just getting off b/c I would think it is just adjustments to that change, however, test just to be safe. If you notice a bright red discharge with cramping very low then you need to go to the dr. I know that you can go to the Health dept in most states and get free preg. tests. Also, you can go to www.At-Home-Pregnancy-tests.com and get all the pregnancy tests you want for cheap! You can get 40 tests for $0.60 each! They are the strips that you test from a cup but they also have the ones you do midstream too. They also have free shipping on orders over $14.95. Anyway, just thought I'd put my 2 cents in.

I had those symptoms when I got pregnant, but had many, many home and clinic preg tests come back negative including one blood test! I finally had a positive urine test at the clinic and found out through ultrasound I was already 8 weeks pregnant. Now I am feeling that way again, but I am second guessing myself.

Well, I had this. I was woken 6am Sunday with dreadful period pains and had no blood. However 9.30pm Monday - so nearly 40 hours later - I got my period. So I guess time will tell!

I have the same period like pains still, but tested positive 10 days ago. Glad to hear that someone else had these pains and had a baby, worried this is a sign of a problem.

i had the same pains... i was due thanksgiving... i felt like i could start any min.. but my cervix was hard and closed.. before during my periods its open and soft... well when i hadnt started by the nexy morning i went and got a test and it was posit.. i was 4 wks with the baby being 14 or so days old.. so theres is hope... good luck ladies

When I was pregnant with my son I had period like pains for about 1 month. So much so that I wore a sanitary napkin everday because I knew I was going to start. Now I have a beautiful three year old.

im 5 days late, got dull, heavy ache like period pains, and sometimes like a stabbing pain in cervix, feels just the same as when im about to start a period
