Pain Of Walking Epidural VS Regular Epidural

I have read a lot about walking epidurals.... and am contemplating getting one when I have my son in about a month and a half.... anyway..... for those of you who have been through this, what did you feel, pain wise, with the walking epidural, as opposed to being completely numb and not being able to feel anything? I am very curious. Thank you!

I had a walking epi and did not feel any pain, I felt the urge to push though and I coudl feel almost all of my legs. I was up and walking around prob within 2 hrs after birth (That could be normal for a reg. epi, I don't know) I would guess that the main difference in feeling is being able to feel and move my legs during the pushing phase and felling pressure. I could not feel the pain of my ctx, but I coudl feel the pressure changes in my abdomen, so I knew when I was having one. i hope that helps good luck!!!
