I'm 37 weeks and have been having period-like cramping for almost 2 weeks. I have heard that this is just your body preparing for labor. My question is...how long after the cramping started with you did labor start???

Not to burst your bubble or anything, but I have been having cramping and contractions for the last month, at the least. It is not very much fun to feel like c___p and have cramps all the time - I want my baby out of me!!! I am 38 1/2 wks and soooo ready!!

yeah I have been having cramping and back pain since the 21st of Dec, Nothing so far in fact I went to the doctor 2 weeks in a row and was still the same as before the 21st. 2cm and 25% effaced how frustrating :\

My first was like that i started with those crampy feelings at 35 weeks and it continued till 40+4 when i actually gave birth...all depends on the person i guess
