Low Lying Placenta And Sex

Hi everyone;
I'm eight months pregnant and my placenta is low but I'm fine and not at risk as that I don't bleed and my emabarrassing question is that my husband and I are missing each other and sometimes we kinda attempt to make love but we change our minds. Do you think having s_x would harm me or harm the baby somehow? I was too shy to ask my doctor especially that my husband was there beside me. Please help.
Thanks for reading. Please do give me some professional advice for I'm too scared to have s_x as much as I want to.

just call the doctor and ask someday when your hubby's not at home. you really should ask your doctor about this one.

I had a low lying placenta with my now 11mth ds & I had bleeding with clots at 13wks & was ordered to take it easy & NO s_x for several wks. At my 19wk scan they said that it had grown up slightly & as it was not covering the cervix at all I was given the all clear for s_x. How low is the placenta? When you found out did they tell you not to have s_x? Only your doctor would know whether it will pose any risk, so as embarra__sed as you may feel you will have to ask him/her.
